Goddess Zero Core
subtle octave up fuzz overdrive
The Goddess Zero is the more relaxed younger brother of the Vintage Fuzz Master. While the VFM is a blistering high intensity fuzz, the GZ has a more subtler, yet incredibly punchy, overdrive feel.
At lower intensities it is extremely gated and has an almost synth like quality to it. That is the reason I would eventually go on to stack the GZ with my Silver Crank muff-like circuit to create the Bit : Legend of Fuzz! So if you’ve ever been looking for a lo-fi punchier version of a video game fuzz with subtle classic octave sounds, this is it.
Unlike the Vintage Fuzz Master’s extreme octavia like qualities, the Goddess Zero has a more subtler octave tone, mainly heard towards the 12 fret at higher intensities. While I wouldn’t call the VFM brittle by any means, the Goddess Zero definitely packs a lot more punch behind it.
This is an accurate component to component simulation of exactly how my pedals work. Not a generic distortion curve or an inferior NAM snapshot. This is the real deal, and it’s gorgeous.
A Spectrum Taper toggle spreads tone more evenly across the pregain allowing you more useful access to a wide variety of fuzz tones harder to reach in the original fuzz.
