Soda Meiser Core
muff-like scrambled fuzz
It may have a peculiar name, but the Soda Meiser is probably one of the most classic sounding pedals I produce. At lower magnitude the Soda Meiser has a very Big Muff like quality but with a lot more character. At higher magnitude, it becomes disharmonic fuzz bliss that reminds many of the Ampeg Scrambler.
People have compared the Soda Meiser’s sound to that of the Smashing Pumpkins and Jeff Buckley. I find it to be the perfect pedal for adding layers of fuzz over synth and bass when recording in the studio or on tour.
The Soda Meiser has graced the boards of many greats including : The Hives, My Bloody Valentine, Nels Cline, Nine Inch Nails, Silversun Pickups, and UNKLE.
This is an accurate component to component simulation of exactly how my pedals work. Not a generic distortion curve or an inferior NAM snapshot. This is the real deal, and it’s gorgeous.
A Spectrum Taper toggle spreads tone more evenly across the pregain allowing you more useful access to a wide variety of fuzz tones harder to reach in the original fuzz.
